We decided to do a joint favourites this month because we have been using a lot of the same products (which we have been given at events we’ve attended) so to avoid any sibling arguments about who had the rights to talk about certain products we decided to join together and share our discoveries.
Our favourites this month are all products and brands that we’ve never tried until recently but have grown to love. Like always, click on the photo if you want to learn more about the products and be taken to their specific websites.
1) Oppo Ice Cream
Ice cream that’s guilt-free and has fewer calories than an apple….Umm yes please!!! Honestly this stuff is amazing and the ingredients list is a wonderful sight; it’s made with virgin coconut oil, stevia leaf and fresh milk in place of cream and cane sugar. This makes it naturally creamy and sweet without the calories and sugar of traditional luxury ice cream. Each flavour is enhanced by a delicious superfood and the flavours that are currently available are Madagascan vanilla and baobab, salted caramel with lucuma and mint choc swirl with spirulina. We are both in love with the salted caramel with lucuma, it’s delicious and so moorish!
2) Coconut Merchant
We are loving Coconut Merchant this month. We got given a jar of their coconut oil and a few packs of their coconut chips at the allergy and free from show we attended recently and think they are delicious! Not only are their products great but so are their company values:

Coconut merchant don’t add any preservatives or artificial flavours to any of their products because they work directly with farmers and to ensure they use only the tastiest and most tender coconuts. They have a lot of coconut products available including oil, flour, water, sugar and even jam! 3) Mio- Strong Not Skinny
Mio products are great because they are made without any nasties; they don’t use… parabens, petrolatum, mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, artificial colourants, sodium laureth or lauryl sulphate, xenoestrogens, phthalates, PEGs or glycols in any of their products and they DO NOT test on animals. This month we have both been loving the ‘strong is the new skinny kit’ that includes firming active body oil, dual action enzyme exfoliator and firming active body butter. These products transform dry skin to smooth, fit, glowing skin and brightens and helps with uneven skin tone. We have both been away a lot recently so this kit is perfect because it’s compact so fits nicely in your suitcase.
4) Great Food
I (Gracie) have been a fan of Great Food for quite a while now and now Sophie is back from living in Singapore she has had the chance to try their range and is hooked! Great Food have a huge variety of flavoured falafel style snacks and bites, meals that include burgers and koftas (totally meat-free!) and a range of dips. All their products are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and have 100% natural ingredients. We love all their products but recently have been eating a lot of the punchy sweet potato pakora bites because we love the spicy kick they have. 5) Our Delicious Snack Bars
If you follow us on Social media, you will have no doubt seen the pictures of our Cacao Brownie samples!! We have worked extremely hard to find the right partner to make our bars exactly the way we want them, i.e. matching our own recipe….with a melt in the mouth feeling and some added crunch as well as a rich and delicious chocolatey taste. We have done blind taste testing on a lot of our friends and family with other brands who offer bars of ‘similar’ ingredients but our bars always win on taste, quality and texture.
Our ethos is that healthy should be fun, enjoyable and tasty! So… we have created delicious bars which are handmade in the UK with 100% natural ingredients and totally guilt-free!! We have our cacao brownie ready and have two other flavours which will be available for sampling very soon…and then fingers crossed we will be launching in September! Our friends and family (and us) really do love them, and think you guys will too so please stay in touch for the official launch.
